TADW have completed the “Revive” Scheme which consists of 13
Flats for shared ownership, and also contain The Guinness Partnerships new
Stockport Office at Ground and Basement levels.
The challenging site, with its topography, boundaries on the
pavement edges, and live culverts below the building is located adjacent our
national award winning Mealhouse and Rostron Brow projects in Stockport’s
Historic Conservation Area. The scheme, with 12 levels includes a roof
top terrace for its residents to view some of Stockport’s most important
vistas, mainly St Marys Church and Robinsons Brewery!
Archeologically
surveys were carried out on the project, and a number of historic
features were recorded which include brick vaults and old steps and walls.
The building completes an important section of
Stockport Underbanks.
